The Optimist Club of Marco Island (OCMI) was founded in 2008 in an effort provide quality sports programs to the youth of the Marco Island area. OCMI currently runs a Flag Football program during the Fall and Spring, Basketball during the Winter and Recreational Soccer during the Winter/Spring season.  

It is the Optimist Club of Marco Island's goal to conduct positive service projects to benefit area youth and community through promotion of organized sport activities. It is our mission to provide the best possible training, in a safe, fun and family-oriented environment while teaching lifetime values and creating long-term memories.
